Partnership & Stewardship
The future of BorelliScopie.
Last updated: 2026-03-24
What we have built
BorelliScopie is a foundational dermoscopy training resource for primary care. Eight structured modules covering perception, normal appearances, benign pattern recognition, concerning features, and the TADA screening methodology. An interactive simulator for low-stakes practice. Clinical governance built in. Progress tracking for learners who want it.
We built this because the training gap is real — clinicians want to use dermoscopy but lack accessible, structured education at an appropriate level for primary care. BorelliScopie addresses that gap with screening-level training: practical skills for confident triage, not specialist-depth diagnosis.
The platform works. The content is sound. The need is clear.
Now we are looking for the right partner to take it further.
The opportunity
BorelliScopie is seeking a long-term stewardship partner — an organisation with the resources, networks, and infrastructure to maintain and grow this resource beyond what a small independent team can sustain.
This is not about sponsorship or logo placement. It is about finding the right home for a valuable educational asset.
What a partner gains
A ready-to-use educational resource. Curriculum structure, clinical governance framework, version control, and editorial processes already established. Content designed to be separable from the platform — it can be lifted into a partner's LMS or app without re-authoring.
Credibility through education. Associating your brand with genuinely useful clinical training — not marketing dressed as education — builds lasting trust with healthcare professionals.
International reach. The platform is designed for global access: content uses generic clinical pathway framing, mobile-first responsive design, and British English as a global default.
What a partner brings
We have built the educational foundation. A stewardship partner brings what is needed to sustain and scale it:
Networks. Access to clinicians, educators, and specialists who can contribute to ongoing content review and development.
Infrastructure. Resources for hosting, maintenance, and technical development. Capacity to add features, expand content, and ensure long-term platform stability.
Reach. Channels and relationships that can put BorelliScopie in front of the clinicians who need it.
Who this might suit
We are open to conversations with a range of organisations — medical device companies, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, professional bodies, or others who see value in supporting primary care education.
The right partner is one who shares our belief that dermoscopy training should be accessible, evidence-based, and clinically sound.
What we are looking for
We are flexible about structure. Options might include:
- Full acquisition with ongoing editorial advisory role
- Long-term licensing with maintenance responsibility transferring to the partner
- Joint stewardship with shared governance
We are not prescriptive about the model — we are focused on finding an arrangement that works for both parties and serves clinicians well.
Our ongoing role
We are not looking to disappear. The ideal arrangement preserves continuity through ongoing involvement in clinical governance and curriculum direction — ensuring updates and expansions meet the educational standards we have established.
The goal is a partnership where BorelliScopie gains the resources to thrive, while retaining the quality and focus that make it valuable.

We are happy to share more detail with serious enquiries. This is a chance to support something genuinely useful — a resource that helps clinicians and contributes to earlier skin cancer detection. We would like to find the right partner to make that happen.
